Service Description
Advanced foot care is a specialized nursing service that goes far beyond a standard cosmetic pedicure. It is a clinical intervention performed by a Nurse. Unlike a spa treatment, advanced foot care focuses on the medical health of the feet, particularly for individuals with complex conditions that put them at risk for infection or amputation. This would include: Clinical Assessment: The nurse evaluates blood flow (circulation), nerve sensation (checking for neuropathy), and skin integrity. Specialized Tools: Nurses use sterilized, medical-grade instruments—including high-speed rotary files (burrs)—to safely treat thickened nails and deep calluses. Medical Focus: It is specifically designed to manage high-risk feet, such as those belonging to patients with diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, or arthritis. Core Services Provided include: Nail Management-Precise trimming of ingrown, thickened (onychogryphosis), or fungal nails. Skin Care: Professional reduction of painful corns and calluses. Wound Prevention-Identifying early signs of ulcers or infections before they become emergencies. Education: Teaching patients about proper footwear, daily self-inspection, and moisture management to prevent future complications.
Cancellation Policy
1. 48-Hour Cancellation Notice: Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before their scheduled appointment. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the deposit or a $75 cancellation fee. ⸻ 2. No-Show Policy: Clients who do not show up to their appointment without prior notice will be charged 100% of the service cost and will be required to pay in full to rebook future appointments. ⸻ 3. Late Rescheduling Fee: Rescheduling within 24–48 hours of the appointment will incur a $50 rescheduling fee. This fee must be paid before the new appointment can be confirmed. ⸻ 4. Deposit Non-Refundable: All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date and time. Deposits are transferable once with proper notice but will be forfeited if the client cancels or reschedules multiple times. ⸻ 5. Medical Exceptions: Cancellations due to medical emergencies must be accompanied by official documentation. If approved, the deposit can be transferred to a future appointment within 60 days. ⸻ 6. Arrival Grace Period: Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule and will be charged a cancellation fee. This ensures adequate time and safety for procedures.
